I've been a guitar player for 40 years, doing country. For a beginner, the double stops might be challenging, but you do this in a way that makes it easy to understand. That's what's key. After that, all it takes is practice. Great lesson!

I have two same bridge pickups in two differend guitars, rosewood and a maple tele. On the maple is more live, you need a less effort to get a sound from them then on a rosewood neck tele. Rosewood its not so sensitive. Neck meterial obviously makes a big difference.

It is truly a shame Ken just dissapeared from RUclips. He is one Helluva' great teacher and phenomenal picker! Miss this cat.

It's really the guitar: that's the source. I don't have a telecaster: justa Strat as an electric. Sometimes guitarists use a baritone guitar.
